ARTICLE XVII.  TEACHER EVALUATION
A. Evaluation of teachers shall be conducted openly and with the full knowledge of the teacher, and shall include appropriate suggestions for improvement.
B. A teacher may be accompanied by an LUT representative at any meeting, interview or hearing at which he/she may be formally reprimanded, warned or disciplined.
C. For probationary teachers, a conference shall be held between the observer and observed prior to the submission of the "Observation Report."  The conference shall be held within two (2) days of the observation, except in the case of absence of either party or when there is a mutual agreement on a postponement.
D. For tenured teachers, a conference shall be held regarding an observation when requested by either the observed or the observer.  Such a conference shall be held within two (2) days of the observation and prior to the submission of the final "Observation Report," except in the case of absence of either party or when there is a mutual agreement on a postponement.
