As Health and Safety Coordinator, I strive to make our workplace safe in these difficult times. Below, I have included a few helpful links that can aid you in ensuring a safe workplace.

  • The Levittown district School Safety Plan is comprehensive. It addresses risk reduction/prevention, response, and recovery with respect to a variety of emergencies that may occur in our district. Click this link to access that plan: www.levittownschools.com
  • www.schoolsafety.gov is a great website that provides a list of resources and links to other websites focused on safety in an education environment for both staff and students.
  • The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is part of the United States Department of Labor. OSHA sets the standards for workplace health and safety. Their informative website can be found here: www.osha.gov
  • The website for the Center for Disease Control (CDC), www.cdc.gov, is a place on the internet where you can find critical information on health threats and how to respond when they arise.

If you have any questions about these resources or have any issues regarding school health and safety that you would like to discuss, feel free to contact me. I can be reached by connecting with me on the Remind App: text @Joe4RS to the number 81010. You can also call me or text me on my cell phone: 516-313-7787. Have a great summer everyone!
