Threats to our Profession

I want to thank everyone who joined us on Wednesday, March 22nd for our Constitutional Convention Forum. The LUT was very proud to be able to bring together so many different factions from the Levittown family and beyond.
Present were Central Office Administration, ALSA & CSEA members and leadership, the Plainedge Federation of Teachers, the United Teachers of Seaford and various delegates from our election district.
 
This overwhelming show of unity is the perfect example of what is needed to be successful in the upcoming battles to preserve public education.
 

A special thank you to our guest speakers, Matt Jacobs, NYSUT Regional Director and Jeff Friedman, NYSUT Regional Political Organizer.

Over the next eight months, the LUT will continue to be dedicated to its campaign designed to educate our members on the multiple threats to our profession.

Please look for John Lipani, Political Action VP, and myself, as we visit each school in the coming months to provide additional information and time for questions and answers.
