The chart below shows the candidates endorsed by the New York State United Teachers and candidates who the LUT is supporting in the upcoming elections.
NYUST endorses candidates NOT by party, but by their stated positions and past voting records on issues concerning public education and teacher unions.
In the event that no candidate has demonstrated themselves worthy of NYSUT's support, no endorsement has been given.
In addition to the NYSUT endorsed candidates, the LUT is also strongly supporting several New York State Senate candidates who are running for office to reform education policy and clean up corruption in Albany.
The most important thing to do in this election is simply to VOTE! The LUT also asks you to seriously consider voting for candidates who will best serve the needs of teachers, schools and unions.
