Department of Health Guidelines

Colleagues,

Last Friday, the New York State Department of Health issued revised guidance for in-person instruction in Pre-K through Grade 12 schools during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Conversations are underway with Central Office to determine how, if at all, this new guidance will impact us here in Levittown.  I am attaching at the bottom of this message, a link to the new guidance documents for your review.

I strongly encourage everyone to read the revised guidance and bring any comments, concerns or questions to your building reps.  Union leadership will be having further conversations with Central Office in the coming days/weeks.  It is important to us that we hear from our members and represent your voice in these meetings.
