Back to School season is a very busy time for Long Island teachers.  Many educators have spent the entire summer preparing for this week either through continuing education and course development. Our hats are off to the thousands of teachers who are excited to welcome your children back to a positive learning environment.  So partner with us, get to know your educator, talk to your children about their classes and course work. No one child is the same and it takes a team of educators, parents, and a caring community to ensure that our children get the best public education possible.  If you are in need of school supplies or are an organization that can provide much needed backpacks, lunch boxes or pens, please visit UnitedWayLI.org. We are Long Island Teachers, teacher leaders in the community.
